My fascination with computer technology goes back to the days of punch cards and paper tape readers.  I have been fortunate to spend my entire professional career working with the technology that so captivates me.

For the past 20 plus years I have been blessed to work with and learn from people that I consider to be some of the industry’s most talented and ingenious in developing cutting edge computer integrated solutions for the manufacturing industry.

Developing technical solutions and applying technology in new and creative ways has always been almost intuitive to me.  Understanding the non-technical needs of customers has been a bit more of a challenge. Over the years I have learned that success in any application of technology is critically dependent upon listening to and understanding the non-technical needs of the customer.  A new system, no matter how large or small, involves human change and the accompanying anxiety.  The users must be properly prepared and trained.  Impacts on other systems have to be carefully considered.  And, most importantly, the person that made the decision to purchase the system must have that decision validated by having the system delivered as expected, on time and within budget.  This requires clear communications and attention to detail from start to finish.

As president of Pinaka Systems I will make sure that the technical whizzes I surround myself with will constantly be reminded to put as much passion into understanding and satisfying the non-technical needs of the customer as they do in developing and implementing the technical solution.
